About Thomas

A calm, supportive space built around you.

Hello, my name is Tom, and I am a Holistic Analytical Hypnotherapist. My approach focuses on treating the whole person and recognising that true wellbeing comes from balance across the mind, body and spirit.

My journey into hypnotherapy began through my own personal experience. For many years, I struggled with anxiety and depression and understood first-hand the impact these challenges can have on daily life and overall wellbeing.

Through hypnotherapy, I experienced significant personal growth and gained valuable insight into the mind's remarkable ability to heal and transform. This inspired me to train as a hypnotherapist myself.

Today, I combine professional training with genuine empathy and understanding, providing a supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood and guided towards lasting positive change.

Who I Help

I work with a wide range of issues that often originate in the mind, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, PTSD, childhood trauma, addictions, bereavement, sleep disorders, pain management, low self-esteem, stress and emotional overwhelm.

My Approach

I believe that every individual has the capacity for positive change and healing. I work with clients of all ages, from children through to adults. By combining analytical hypnotherapy with a holistic approach, I aim to uncover and address the root causes of emotional challenges, helping clients move towards greater emotional wellbeing, clarity and confidence.

My approach is tailored to each individual, helping clients release limiting beliefs, heal from past experiences, regain confidence and create lasting positive change. Whether you are seeking relief from emotional distress, looking to break unwanted patterns, or wanting to reconnect with your inner strength and purpose, I am here to support your journey towards healing and balance.

Your First Consultation

If you feel that my approach resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch for a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your individual needs, answer any questions you may have, and explore how we can work together to support your journey towards positive change and wellbeing.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Understanding Hypnotherapy

7 common misconceptions answered.

Hypnotherapy is often misunderstood. These are some of the most common concerns people have before their first session.

01

Will I lose control?

During hypnotherapy, you remain aware and in control. You cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes.

02

Is hypnosis mind control?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and relaxation. Your therapist guides you, but you remain in charge of your thoughts and actions.

03

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

It is impossible to become stuck in hypnosis. You can open your eyes and return to full alertness whenever you choose.

04

Is it like stage hypnosis?

Stage hypnosis is entertainment. Clinical hypnotherapy is a professional therapeutic approach tailored to your goals in a safe, confidential setting.

05

Is it only for weak-minded people?

Hypnosis works best with people willing to engage in the process. The ability to focus and use imagination can make someone more responsive, not weaker.

06

Is hypnotherapy a magic cure?

Hypnotherapy can be powerful, but it is not a miracle cure. Positive results often come through commitment, collaboration and sometimes multiple sessions.

07

Do I have to be asleep?

Hypnosis is not sleep. Most people feel deeply relaxed while remaining aware of their surroundings and able to remember the session afterwards.

The Truth

Hypnotherapy is safe, professional and supportive.

Hypnotherapy is a safe, evidence-informed approach that can help many people with issues such as anxiety, stress, confidence, habits, fears and smoking cessation when provided by a qualified practitioner.

FAQ

Questions

Before your first session.

Hypnotherapy uses focused relaxation to help access the subconscious mind and encourage positive change. It can support emotional wellbeing, confidence, stress relief, sleep, habits and personal growth.

Hypno-analysis is Thomas’ main therapeutic approach. The idea behind it is that some emotional issues or repeated patterns may have an underlying cause. The aim is to gently uncover and understand that cause, so it can be resolved rather than simply managed.

Suggestion hypnotherapy often focuses on direct positive suggestions for change. Hypno-analysis can be a deeper process, sometimes taking a number of sessions, because it works to explore the root cause of a concern. This allows trust and rapport to build in a safe, confidential environment.

A trusting relationship helps clients feel safe enough to open up and talk about experiences or emotions that may have been bottled up from the past. These past experiences can sometimes contribute to present-day difficulties, and exploring them can support understanding, release and healing.

Hypnotherapy may support people dealing with anxiety, anger, depression, mental confusion, low self-worth, stress, emotional overwhelm, sleep issues, pain management, habits and unwanted patterns of behaviour.

Many behaviours and emotional patterns are stored in the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy helps explore the reasons behind how you feel or behave, bringing greater understanding to the conscious mind and supporting self-realisation and healing.

Yes. Hypnotherapy can help explore the “script” you may be repeatedly telling yourself, especially if it is outdated, unhelpful or linked to anxiety. Through this process, old thought patterns can be understood and gently changed.
